About The Community Effect

The Community Effect is a non-profit community collaboration group founded by a local dentist in Gresham. We have 3 main purposes

1. To promote a community wide fund raising challenge in the last week of September to benefit 3 local Gresham area charities.
2. To promote and plan a "Celebration of Gresham" Community BBQ and Party on October 2nd.
3. To build a successful model of The Community Effect that can be duplicated in any community in the US.

The Community Effect was funded with two donations of $5000 each from the dentist that founded TCE and his partner. That $10,000 covers all expenses related to promoting the Challenge and the Community BBQ to follow so 100% of donations made go directly to benefit local charities.
